The Aquanaut is often seen as Patek Philippe's second sports pillar. On official pricing, the steel three-hand 5167A on rubber is the brand's most affordable watch, yet it trades far above list on the secondary market — a sign of how much stronger demand is for sports models than for dress watches.

The family keeps expanding. The 5164G moved to white gold with a blue-grey dial and strap; the 5269R quartz dual-time replaced the gem-set 5269/200R, also in blue-grey; and the 5268/461G is a jewellery piece combining diamonds and sapphires. The steel-bracelet 5167/1A-001 was discontinued in 2025, leaving rubber straps as the norm.

Indicative 2026 retail prices: 5167A at NT$849,000, 5164G at NT$1,667,000, 5269R at NT$1,804,000, 5268/461G at NT$1,924,000, and a complicated reference such as the 5260 at NT$2,770,000. The entry model has risen about NT$176,000 since 2022.

Secondary premiums vary widely: 5167A averages around NT$2.26 million, 5164G around NT$3.27 million, 5269R around NT$3.06 million, 5268/461G around NT$4.41 million and the 5260 around NT$3.85 million. Even after five years of correction, the Aquanaut remains above retail across the line, showing a durable demand base.
