Jaeger-LeCoultre was founded in 1833 by Antoine LeCoultre in Le Sentier, in the Vallée de Joux. The manufacture integrates movement development and production under one roof, a structure that has long allowed the house to treat invention as a daily discipline rather than an occasional gesture.
The Reverso, introduced in 1931 with a reversible case linked to polo, remains the clearest expression of the house's Art Deco instincts — a rectangle that turns to protect its dial. The Atmos clock stands as another signature creation, while Master Control and Polaris carry the range from classical round watches to sportier forms.
Geometry, proportion and a quietly inventive approach to mechanics hold the collections together; invention, design and fine watchmaking are balanced here rather than ranked.
